About the Initiative

The FSI Global Impact Initiative 2026 is a global digital storytelling campaign exclusively for university students. Through powerful photographs and compelling narratives, participants are invited to showcase innovative solutions, inspiring practices, and positive stories addressing today’s global challenges.

Submission Requirements

Each participant may submit one original entry, consisting of:

  • One original photograph captured using a camera or smartphone.
  • A title for the photograph.
  • A narrative in English (200-250 words) explaining the context of the photograph and highlighting a solution, positive initiative, best practice, innovation, or constructive response to the selected theme. Participants are encouraged to share their own perspective, recommendations, or ideas for creating meaningful change.
  • Country and Institution/University.
  • One selected theme.

Submission Guidelines 

  • The photograph and narrative must be the participant’s original work. 
  • The photograph must not contain watermarks, logos, or AI-generated imagery. 
  • Basic editing (cropping, brightness, contrast, and colour correction) is permitted. 
  • Entries should respect the privacy, dignity, and rights of all individuals depicted. 
  • Submissions must be authentic, ethical, and aligned with the selected Impact Track. 

Selection Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated based on: 

  • Relevance to the selected theme 
  • Originality 
  • Global impact 
  • Creativity 
  • Quality of storytelling 
  • Positive impact and innovative perspective 

Recognition

Every eligible participant will receive a Certificate of Contribution. 

Selected submissions will: 

  • Be published in the FSI Global Impact Newsletter 2026 
  • Receive FSI BOD Choice Recognition 
  • Be featured across FSI’s official communication platforms 

Originality & Ethics

By submitting an entry, participants confirm that the photograph and narrative are their original work and do not infringe upon the rights of others. 

Participants retain copyright ownership of their work while granting FSI permission to publish and promote selected submissions with appropriate credit.

  • Call for Entries: 31st July’ 2026
